New York is probably one of the most eclectic cities I’ve ever been to. Once you live here – you can picture how Kips Bay is different from Hell’s Kitchen, or West Village from the East Village. It’s a huge city with many communities and distinct areas inside of it. That is the magic. You’ll never get tired of exploring it. And let me tell you… a number of magnificent coffee shops here! It’s overwhelming. I definitely have to make a guide telling you all about my favorite spots.
This vintage-inspired bomber from Brandy Melville is my go-to when I’m wearing a t-shirt with blue jeans. But this time, I had a vision for an editorial. Normally, I’d wear this black transparent dress with a bodycon under it with a ribbon/choker and feel like Natasha Rostova. Today it is a Calvin Klein bralette and glossy combat boots. Needless to say, tho 90’s are in full swing. Transforming the ultra-feminine dress into something unexpected and wearing it with heavy shoes is the definition of grunge. This whole vision required a tough background. A tennis wall on 35th and 2nd had always seemed perfect for a shoot. So this is a rascal 1997 Natasha Rostova if you wish 🙂
